This time I’m presenting myself with an utterly different style from another corner of Rome…
For today’s combine, I’m in the middle of Rome, in Piazza Venezia with a Damat-Tween SS Ceremony suit.
The heart of Rome’s historical center is Piazza Venezia, known as freedom square. This square is at the same time the main station of many bus lines. It’s a matter of time that you find yourself back at this square wherever you may have gone before. The monument of Vittorio Emanuele II is located in the middle of the square. Romans called this place wedding cake or Rome’s artificial teeth. This structure is built in order to honour Victor Emmanuele who is the first king of Italy and to celebrate the Italian union. (1885-1911) The monument which is made of marble columns and statues really looks like a snow white cake.
This monument consists of the statue of Victor Emmanuel, two statues of goddess Victoria riding chariots, fountains, four columns and stairs. And a museum offering different highlights of Italy, a cafe and a bookshop is located inside.
It’s quite pleasant to climb up to the top of the monument and enjoy the scenery. And another place to be seen in Piazza Venezia is Palazzo Venezia and Basilica S. Maria in Aracoli which is located at the end of the long stairs nearby. Not many people knows this place so you should definitely visit and light a candle there :))

Bugünkü kombinimde Damat-Tween SS Ceremony takımı ile Roma’nın tam ortasında Piazza Venezia’dayım.
Roma’nın tarihi merkezinin kalbi özgürlük meydanı olarak da bilinen Piazza Venezia’dır. Bu meydan aynı zamanda pek çok otobüs hatlarının da ana durağıdır. Dönüp dolaşıp kendinizi bu meydanda bulmanız an meselesidir. Meydanın tam ortasında Vittorio Emanuele II anıtı bulunuyor. Buraya Romalılar düğün pastası veya Roma’nın takma dişleri adını takmışlardır. Bu yapı birleşmiş İtalya’nın ilk kralı olan Victor Emmanuele’yi onore etmek ve İtalyan birliğini kutlamak üzere yapılmıştır. (1885-1911) Bol mermer sütun ve heykellerden oluşan anıt gerçekten bembeyaz bir pastayı andırıyor.
Anıtta Victor Emmanuel heykeli, tanrıça Victoria’nın atlı araba süren iki adetheykeli, çeşmeler, dört kolon ve merdivenlerden oluşuyor. İçerde ise İtalya’dan izler sunan müze, kafe vekitabevi yer alıyor.
Anıtın tepesine çıkıp manzarayı seyretmek gerçekten çok keyifli. Piazza Venezia’da görülebilecek diğer önemli yer ise Palazzo Venezia ( Venezia sarayı) ve hemen yan taraflarda uzun merdivenlerin sonunda Basılıca S. Maria In Aracoli’dir. Bir çok kişi burayı bilmez ve göstermez o yüzden muhakkak uğrayın ve bir mum yakın :))
